The former Dolphin Swimming Pool in Poole, Dorset has fully reopened to the public, seven months after a fire forced the centre to close (on 27 July 2009).

The centre, which has been renamed as Everyone Active Leisure Centre: Poole, has undergone a redevelopment funded largely by the insurance payments.

According to a spokesperson, the revamp included the rewiring of the entire centre and an extensive redecoration.

"The closure also gave us the opportunity to do maintenance work in the centre that have resulted in better ancillary services for customers such as more powerful and hotter shower facilities," she said.
