Life Fitness and Serco renew deal

Fitness equipment supplier Life Fitness and leisure management company Serco have extended their partnership contract for another five years.
According to a spokesperson, the new agreement has a projected spend of £3m over the next three years.
The partnership will see Life Fitness supplying its equipment to more than 20 leisure centres managed by Serco on behalf of local authorities.
Current redevelopment projects involving Serco-managed sites include The Aquadrome in Basingtoke, South Ribble Tennis Centre and Swallows Leisure Centre in Sittingbourne – all if which are due to reopen in spring 2010.
