A new golf course built by Kestrel Contractors has opened just outside Guildford in Surrey.
Situated next to Merrow Park, the Clandon Golf facility offers two 9-hole golf courses and operates on a 'pay and play' basis with no membership base, club house or other facilities.
All bookings and payments are made online, then golfers simply turn up and play - no handicap certificate is required.
Constructed over a two-year period, the course offers a variety of views across the Surrey and Hampshire countryside. Comprising two loops of 9-hole golf, built and maintained by Kestrel, the second of the two courses will be ready for play by early 2011.
