£4m Ipswich pool refurbishment moves forward

Ipswich Borough Council (IBC) has announced the reopening of the leisure and teaching pools at the town's Crown Pools as part of an ongoing £4m revamp at the venue.

Work started on the latest phase of the scheme late last year, following work to provide new changing rooms, a reception area and an improved pool plant in the first stage of improvements.

Crown Pools' competition pool is now closed to undergo refurbishment work and is expected to reopen during the summer. The Profiles gym remained open during the latest phase of work.
