Abu Dhabi-based immersive destination creator Miral launches social and environmental Miral Impact Fund
Miral, a company that creates immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has launched the Miral Impact Fund to deliver social benefits and achieve sustainable environmental goals in the city.
The fund has been launched in partnership with the Abu Dhabi government’s Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an.
Money in the fund will be used for responsible growth and community development. The four different pillars that will be considered when allocating funds are conservation; art and culture; health and wellbeing; and education and skills development.
Dedicated programmes and initiatives under each pillar will deliver measurable social impacts.
Ma’an will channel collective contributions towards different goals, the first of which is called “Guardians of the Arabian Gulf”. This inaugural initiative will aim to protect marine ecosystems and endangered species, as well as training future conservation leaders. It will be led by the Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue Centre Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The launch of the Miral Impact fund is seen by Miral and Ma’an as a key step in addressing Abu Dhabi’s evolving priorities and aligning with the city’s Vision 2030 for a sustainable and inclusive future for residents and visitors.
The platform is described by the partners as a transparent platform for corporate and community contributions that will create lasting value.
The fund is governed by a joint Miral and Ma’an steering committee, supported by an advisory group designed to ensure transparency and the effective use of contributions.
