Anantara’s medical wellness retreat destination Layan Life introduces aftercare programme
Layan Life, the medical wellness retreat at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort in Thailand has introduced a post-stay continuity programme to provide follow-up care for guests.
The retreat destination launched in October last year under Minor Hotels’ new medi-wellness concept, Life by Anantara.
Read an exclusive interview in Spa Business with Minor Hotels’ CEO Dillip Rajakarier about how the group will roll the Layan Life concept out to other Anantara properties here.
The two-floor 1,767sq m standalone facility, Layan Life, is located within the Thai property and it offers transformative wellbeing using advanced medical science, evidence-based holistic therapies and Thai Traditional Medicine.
Life After Layan
The new “Life After Layan” programme extends the concept’s philosophy beyond the retreat experience in order for guests to sustain the progress made during their stay.
It includes consultations with doctors after a retreat at intervals of one, three and six months.
Guests will also have access to wellness products and supplement subscriptions as part of the aftercare service.
Digital newsletters with expert insights and inspiration will also be available.
Minor Hotels has also revealed that in 2026, Layan Life will introduce a series of programmes and retreats designed for people of specific ages, from teens and young adults to midlife guests and seniors.

The upper level features medical and holistic treatment facilities, such as consultation rooms, physiotherapy areas, TTM, aesthetic treatment rooms and areas for IV procedures, cryotherapy, hyperbaric chamber and hydrocolonic treatments.
