Perth & Kinross Leisure is planning a programme of maintenance investment in Perth Leisure Pool as it approaches it’s 20th anniversary.

Work will include refurbishing the flume tower’s steps and central column and improvements to the Monkey Jungle, Outdoor Lagoon and Leisure Water.

The Monkey Jungle, Outdoor Lagoon and Leisure Water will be closed from 3 December and the rest of the centre will close completely between 17-27 December for further maintenance.

Jim Moyes, chief executive officer of Perth and Kinross Leisure, the charitable not-for-profit owner and operator of the centre said: “We are sure that our planned maintenance work and service improvements for Perth Leisure Pool will mean our customers are able to look forward to an even more enjoyable experience in 2008.

“We will do everything possible to minimise any disruption to services and are confident that real improvements will result.

It is hard to believe that the centre will be celebrating its 20th anniversary and 10,000,000th customer in 2008, and we are planning to make this a very memorable year for the centre and all its customers.”
