Wet ‘n’ Wild Orlando will have a thrilling new high speed ride to offer visitors this season, adding to the mix of 15 themed rides and attractions already on offer.

Six storeys high, Aqua Drag Racer, by ProSlide, will be the tallest and fastest ride of its kind in Florida. Riders will be propelled through four parallel lanes at 15 feet per second, through twisting tunnels on a foam mat, in an experience not unlike the Winter Olympic sport, the skeleton. Their ride times will flash up at the end, giving a competitive element.

“The new Aqua Drag Racer combines friendly competition along with the excitement of sharing the rush with family and friends,” says Michael Black, senior vice president and general manager of Wet ‘n’ Wild.

In order to make room for the new ride, the Bubba Tub family raft ride, which is more than 20 years old will be retired.
