Armathwaite Hall to invest £100k in new gym facilities
Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa in the Lake District, UK, is investing £100,000 in the redevelopment of its gym facilities.
The new gym will place an emphasis on rehabilitation and performance and will offer a range of workouts and facilities to aid recovery from injury and burnout, as well as boost power and endurance.
The gym will offer bespoke fitness programming to both members and hotel residents alike that, when combined with the hydrotherapy experiences in the spa, will create a holistic fitness experience that will benefit the body and the mind. It has been designed to help gym-goers gain a healthy advantage during their visit through bespoke workouts and high-end equipment from brands including WaterRower and Life Fitness.
Guests will also have access to a library of downloadable instruction videos offering demos for each piece of equipment, personal training services and a messaging platform to contact personal trainers.
Roberta Griffiths, spa and leisure director at Armathwaite Hall, said: "We attract a great many active people and realised that offering simply gym equipment wasn't enough as many of these people regularly participate in fitness, sporting and leisure activities which require specific equipment and programmes for both muscle recovery and performance.
"Our new gym addresses these needs ensuring that our visitors take care of their bodies, continue to progress in their training and leave in the best condition possible."
