Aromatherapy Associates (AA) has teamed up with the Waldorf Astoria Collection - part of the Hilton group - to create a new spa programme at the Beach House Maldives.

The rebranded property - which was previously called The Beach House at Manafaru - is to join the Waldorf Astoria Collection from 1 March 2010.

In conjunction with AA, The Beach House will feature a new spa programme, which incorporates three distinct sensory experiences using aromatherapy, ayurveda and traditional Maldivian philosophies. The spa will launch a range of exclusive massage, body and facial treatments that use a combination of 12 signature natural essential oils.

Focusing on the creation of luxurious and authentic experiences, there will also be a range of traditional Maldivian remedies offered, using natural ingredients from the island's trees and plants. Details: waldorfastoriacollection.com
