A behind-the-scenes view of the development of the new Aspers Casino, set to open at The Gate in Newcastle on Thursday (27 October), is to be unveiled via a series of ‘docusoaps’ which can be watched online.

The 10-minute programmes, called Aspers Casino World, show the development of Damien Aspinall’s entertainment complex, including staff recruitment and training.

The first of 10 episodes was previewed last Friday and is available for viewing at www.aspers.tv from today (24 October).

The programmes have been produced by independent film makers Maddy Farley and Mike Wallington and are sponsored by Aspinalls Online Casino, www. Aspinalls.com.

Damian Aspinall, Aspers director, said: “I’ve seen all the finished episodes so far and it’s been an eye opener for me! It really gives a flavour of what Aspers is about. It’s fantastic that anyone around the world will be able to view the docusoaps and see what’s going on at Aspers.”
