Cincinnati-based pregnancy spa prepares for national expansion
A Cincinnati-based pregnancy spa has moved to new headquarters in preparation for national expansion and franchising, the Cincinnati Business Courier reports.
4X Holdings, a Cincinnati-based private equity firm, recently purchased Becoming Mom Spa + Ultrasound for more than US$500,000 (€453,000, £378,000) and invested a total of about US$1m (€906,000, £757,000) in the company.
Becoming Mom Spa + Ultrasound offers pregnancy-safe spa services, including body and skincare treatments, manicures and pedicures, as well as prenatal ultrasounds.
The new headquarters will also be used as a training facility.
Susan King Glosby has also joined the company to oversee franchising and operations. Becoming Mom Spa + Ultrasound has plans to franchise in 35 states, and is looking at sites in Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Nashville, Tennessee; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.
