Bexley centre undergoes £100k revamp
Fitness facilities at Bexley's Crook Log Leisure Centre have reopened to the public after the venue's operator, Parkwood Leisure, completed a refurbishment worth more than £100,000.
The week-long scheme has included the installation of 22 new Star Trac spinning bikes and an updated sound system in the centre's spinning studio. Meanwhile, more than 60 new Precor cardiovascular and resistance machines have also been provided as part of the refurbishment - carried out following consultation with members.
Crook Log Leisure Centre manager Ian Thompson said: "The new equipment has increased the capacity of the gym, allowing more of our customers to use the centre. "The spin studio has allowed us to offer this very popular class to our members and, in turn, has significantly improved the fitness experience for our customers."
