Camberley Town FC plans new stadium, five-a-side centre
Camberley Town, the Surrey-based football club, has submitted its plans for a new stadium.
The club plans to relocate to a new stadium immediately adjacent to its existing Krooner Park stadium and redevelop the existing facility as a five-a-side football centre, to be run by Fusion X Football Centres.
Camberley also plans to invest in improving community sports facilities on Crabtree Rec, which will be maintained by its staff.
The new 200-capacity stadium will preserve the team's current Ryman grade status. Its new three-storey clubhouse will feature changing rooms, showers, a sports bar, a coffee shop, offices, a mini-gym and function rooms.
The Fusion X centre will boast 10 floodlit five-a-side pitches and an 80m x 60m Astroturf pitch.
A decision on the plans is expected from Surrey Heath Borough Council in February.
