Cannons is to launch its latest health and fitness club, in Green Park, Reading, next month.

Representing an investment of £3m, the 25,000sq ft development will provide the typical Cannons facilities, offering a range of exercise, relaxation and social facilities.

These will include a 20m swimming pool, fully-equipped gymnasium and two group exercise studios.

The sauna and steam room will be joined by the Cannons Retreat, a dedicated area offering a range of relaxation and beauty treatments for members and non-members, while the lounge with a bar area will be the social hub of the club.

Faith Johns, 34, has been appointed general manager of the new club. Johns has been promoted to GM following her roles as assistant general manager (AGM) and deputy general manager (DGM) at Cannons in Aberdeen.
