Clissold achieves Quest for excellence
Clissold Leisure Centre in London has become the first in the capital to achieve a Quest rating of excellent in its recent assessment.
The accreditation puts the facility in the top 25 in the country.
The centre is operated by sports trust Greenwich Leisure (GLL) and reopened following a major refurbishment in December 2007.
Chris Hebblewhite, GLL Regional Partnership Manager for Hackney said, "For a new leisure centre to achieve a top QUEST mark is a credit to the general manager and staff at Clissold Leisure Centre.
"GLL will be operating this and five other Hackney leisure centres in partnership with Hackney Council for the next 15 years and we aim to make continuous improvements to the services we offer for the benefit of the local community."
