Coleshill agrees site for new leisure centre

Plans are shaping up for a new leisure centre in Coleshill, North Warwickshire, to replace the 1980s leisure centre, which is unviable to refurbish.

The borough council has now recommended Coleshill School as being the best and most cost effective option for a replacement leisure centre and the school has now started work on a bid for a grant from the Education Funding Agency.

A planning application will be presented in December.
