Crawley Town plans stadium upgrade

Crawley Town Football Club (CTFC) has announced plans to build a new East Stand at its Broadfield Stadium in conjunction with Crawley Borough Council (CBC).
The stand will boast a seating capacity of more than 2,100 and form parts of a wider revamp of the eastern side of the venue, which also includes new turnstiles, toilets and food outlets.
If CBC approves the proposals, which were put on view to supporters and residents earlier this week, it is hoped the scheme will be completed by February 2012.
