DLFs new mixes for 2005
Grass seed specialists DLF Trifolium, formerly Perryfields, has announced a range of new mixtures for 2005.
Under the Johnsons Sport and Amenity brand, Rye-green is said to be ideal for the renovation of extremely worn greens. Wembley Shade includes True Putt, Poa Reptans, excellent for shade tolerance and has been used on - amongst other sites - the pitch at Crystal Palace's football stadium.
Also on the golf front, Techni Turf includes TT28 Shaded Tees, which has been re-formulated specifically for shaded tee areas, and TT101 Techni-Green Plus is a rye grass-based mixture for greens.
Finally, the company's landscaping section has been enlarged with newly formulated mixtures for both wet and dry soils, Pro 28 Wetland and Pro 29 Droughtmaster respectively.
DLF Trifolium is part of Denmark-based DLF Trifolium A/S, which is reported to produce over 40 per cent of the grass seed used in Europe.
