ECB consults over 2011 domestic structure

By Pete Hayman    24 Sep 2010

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has revealed it has held a 'consultative meeting' with representatives of the domestic game over next year's schedule.

Nearly 60 county chairs, chief executives and directors of cricket met with the national governing body, along with players' group, the Professional Cricketers' Association (PCA). ECB chair Giles Clarke and chief executive David Collier were at the meeting to discuss potential options for the scheduling of First Class fixtures in 2011.

A decision on the county cricket schedule for 2011 is to be made by the ECB's management board at its next meeting, due to take place on 29 September.
