Ecommerce company Excalibur Group has announced the strategic acquisition of spa deal website Spabreaks.com, enhancing the group’s presence in the luxury spa, wellness and leisure sectors.

The acquisition expands Excalibur Group’s portfolio of UK-focused websites that offer deals on products and services, including Wowcher, 5pm and LivingSocial.

Spabreaks.com markets the spa days and breaks of its partner facilities. This acquisition will allow the brand to benefit from the operational expertise, AI knowledge and marketing resources Excalibur has to offer, to facilitate the brand’s growth.

The brand will continue to operate independently under Spabreaks.com and the existing management team will remain in place.
