Utility organisation EuroSite Power Inc is to supply energy efficient heat and power to a Leisure Connection leisure facility.

EuroSite Power will install and operate the low carbon technology combined heat and power system (CHP) at Dunstable Leisure Centre.

The initiative has been adopted by Leisure Connection to reduce energy consumption and operate more energy efficiently.

The system is designed to generate approximately 1.62GWh of total energy per annum, while saving up to 194 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year, equating to approximately £250,000 during the contract length.
