Upcoming additions for You+ include virtual breathwork sessions and journaling

Everyone Active has partnered with Team GB sprinter and TV personality, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, to be the first ambassador of its You+ wellbeing membership.

Developed with physiologist, Oli Patrick, You+ is a holistic membership based on six pillars of health – movement, nutrition, sleep, recovery, brain health and social wellness.

Everyone Active’s national fitness products and training manager, Stephanie Heath, says of the programme: “We wanted to change the perception of wellbeing and make it accessible for all. You+ is based on the 30 most powerful behaviours of wellbeing which are accessible for everybody and do not rely on the individual having to do everything at once.”

Other collaborators are breath coach, Jamie Clements (look out for the upcoming interview in HCM) who has designed the breathwork element of the programme and is developing virtual breathwork classes to go live later this year. Psychologist, Dr Vanessa  Moulton, has advised on both a journaling product and a medicated weight loss product.

Aikines-Aryeetey will be working alongside the expert collaborators as the face of the brand, helping to drive awareness and engagement.

He has been a prominent figure within Everyone Active’s Sporting Champions scheme since 2024 and in his new expanded role, Aikines-Aryeetey will bridge the gap between elite performance and everyday wellness, aiming to inspire a new audience to use leisure facilities.

He says: "I’m incredibly proud to be named the first You+ Ambassador and excited to show that longevity and wellbeing are about much more than just what happens in a gym, pool or studio."

Heath says Aikines-Aryeetey is a fantastic role model who embodies the dedication and passion that Everyone Active promotes across its centres: “With Harry's support, we're breaking down barriers to leisure and empowering people across the country to take charge of their health journey."

Alongside his new responsibilities, Aikines-Aryeetey will continue his work with the Sporting Champions programme, which currently supports more than 1,400 athletes by providing free access to training facilities and professional mentoring.
