First meeting for Glasgow 2014 Legacy Board

Representatives from Scotland's sports, business and public sectors have come together for the first meeting of Glasgow 2014 Legacy Board's full membership on 8 November.

Glasgow City Council leader Gordon Matheson is chair of the board, which considered six themes as part of the Glasgow 2014 Legacy Framework at Glasgow City Chambers.

Matheson said: "The expertise in so many fields possessed by the Glasgow 2014 Legacy Board will stand us in good stead to deliver the council's legacy aims."

The board is due to meet every three months.
