FirstV1sion seeks investors for t-shirt with embedded camera
Wearable technology start up, FirstV1sion, is seeking to raise €2.5m (£1.8m, $2.6m) on crowdfunding platform, BackToTheFuture for its T-shirt with a camera embedded in the chest capable of delivering broadcast-quality video.
The aim of the garment is to immerse fans in a sports game through the players' point of view, making tense sports moments even more exciting.
Barcelona soccer star, Andrés Iniesta has already invested in the product, along with Spanish telecoms group, Telefonica.
“This is the moment to give thousands of people around the world the chance to be part of FirstV1sion while also giving a strong message of support to the market,” said chief executive, Jose Ildefonso.
“The enthusiasm and passion for sport transcends national borders. FirstV1sion wants to connect people regardless of where they come from, bringing these sports-like values into the company.”
