Foundry brings portfolio to nine gyms with Instate acquisition
Foundry has added two new clubs to its portfolio with the acquisition of Instate, an independent operator.
The new sites in Cobham (Surrey) and Wandsworth (London) adds more than 350 new members the group and takes the site count for Foundry to nine in London and the South East.
The Cobham and Wandsworth gyms are 5,000 and 3,500 square feet respectively, fully equipped and newly refurbished. In these new spaces, the team will replicate Foundry's award-winning, trainer-led format of 50 minute personal training sessions on the hour, every hour. Known for its no mirrors, no mobiles, no-nonsense approach, Foundry's mission is to make elite coaching accessible in a premium, functional, friendly space.
Founder and CEO, Jean-Claude Vacassin, says: “Bringing Instate’s Wandsworth and Cobham gyms into the Foundry group is a natural step for us. These locations already deliver a strong coaching experience, and we’re looking forward to building on that with our systems, support, and member-first approach.”
For the new year, Foundry is also simplifying its membership structure to give members more choice, so instead of being tied to a set number of PT sessions each month with unlimited classes, members will be able to buy a number of credits in chunks of 16, 24 or 32. Personal training will use two credits and classes one credit. Classes will be available from £14.
