The Hotel & Catering International Management Association (HCIMA) has created a role to manage its membership.

Jonathan Cale, previously Club Floor manager at the Mayfair Millennium Hotel, London has been appointed as membership manager.

He said: “The strength of any association like the HCIMA is a strong membership base. For this reason, it is imperative to have a dedicated team to look after and nurture membership.

“I strongly believe that an association that listens to its members, and is accessible and proactive, can gain a positive response.

“My membership team and I want to be able to provide good value and ‘functional benefits’ and services that matter to people who have a passion for the industry.”

The HCIMA has also appointed Marianne Allen as membership officer to assist Cale.
