Hilton Bora Bora to undergo multi-million dollar refurbishment; rebrand as Conrad
The Hilton Bora Bora Resort & Spa will undergo a multi-million dollar refurbishment and open under Hilton’s luxury brand, Conrad, as the Conrad Bora Bora Nui in March 2017.
Located on an island rooted in Tahitian history and legend, the Conrad Bora Bora Nui will have a full-service spa with eight treatment rooms, including one al fresco deck with views across the lagoon. It will also have a fitness centre, Kids Club, mini-golf course and retail spaces.
The resort is located on Motu To’opua, an islet off the coast of Bora Bora and about 20 minutes by boat from Bora Bora airport. The Conrad Bora Bora Nui will feature 86 over-water bungalows as well as 29 tropical garden and beach villas.
The beachfront resort will also have access to sea sports, coral reef dive sites and hiking trails.
“We are pleased to be expanding our brand portfolio in the French Polynesian region, where we established our presence in 2009,” said Robert Scullin vice president development Australasia, Hilton Worldwide. “This agreement underscores our strong commitment to this key market, which has demonstrated its resilience and its enduring appeal to travellers around the world.”
