Holovis appoints Baz Slatter as new business development director
Baz Slatter has been appointed as Holovis' new business development director, and will focus on the firm's Extended Experience platform.
Slatter brings more than 25 years of commercial, product and marketing experience with him to the position, and recently acted as global business development director for Picsolve.
In his new role, Slatter will play a major part in deploying Holovis’ Extended Experience offering – augmented reality and virtual reality app-based games designed to join up the theme park experience for consumers.
He will also oversee Holovis’ Enterprise Division, which will create similar apps for Holovis' b2b customers in the automotive, construction and consumer sectors.
“The Holovis Extended Experience transforms the engagement model, by increasing brand connectivity, improving spend per guest and helping to turn passive users into raving fans,” said Holovis CEO Stuart Hetherington. “It creates a whole new ecosystem where guest motivations align with, and are energised by, the rich experience offering now available to them. When this is combined with the latest Holovis Mixed Reality capabilities the Extended Experience really comes to life.
“Baz Slatter joining will enable us to combine his expertise and experience around running major park-wide contracts with the implementation of this next-generation addition to the total guest experience.”
