B Hotels and Resorts will open its second property in Miami Beach, Florida, US, in autumn 2012 - following the January launch of its B Ocean Fort Lauderdale location.

The 250-key Continental Oceanfront South Beach Hotel is to be renovated and repositioned to provide B Hotels and Resorts with the latest addition to its estate. Facilities will comprise an infinity-edge pool with private open-air cabanas; the B'stro on the Beach and SAIA dining concepts; and a Quench Pool and Patio Bar.

The property will also boast a rooftop hospitality suite with a 2,000 sq ft (185.8sq m) outdoor terrace and 5,000 sq ft (464.5sq m) of beach accessible outdoor function space. B Hotels and Resorts CEO and president Ayelet Weinstein said: "We are excited to announce the location of our much-anticipated second hotel.

"In a short period of time, we have built a base of brand loyalists who have been awaiting news of future B Hotels & Resorts properties."
