The Kings Head Hotel, which soft-opened in September 2014 in the Cotswold town of Cirencester, will unveil its luxury day spa in March 2015.

Housed in a Grade II-listed building that was formerly a coaching inn, the hotel is owned by a property developer called Mark Booth. The 45-bedroom property was closed for eight years for a £7.5m makeover.

The new spa, located in the building’s vaulted cellar, will offer a steamroom, sauna, experience shower and hot tub for both hotel guests and locals.

Lubatti and Leighton Denny are the product companies that are partnering with the spa to provide therapies and beauty treatments for the face and body, along with manicures, pedicures and waxing and tinting services.

The property is run by the Vineyard Group, which also operates The Vineyard and Donnington Valley – both of which are owned privately by Sir Peter Michael.
