LCCC upgrades security at Grace Road ground
Leicestershire County Cricket Club has upgraded its security system with a CCTV and PA technology package from Bosch Security Systems.
Several Autodome cameras have been put in place to monitor crowds during games while they are also linked to motion sensors to aid security when the ground is empty.
The system was commissioned and installed by local security firm Squirealarms Limited, with the upgrade required in order to meet ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board) and Police requirements.
Images are continuously recorded and are stored for 30 days using a Bosch Divar XF DVR.
Squirealarms MD Richard Squire says: "The Bosch cameras were selected for their excellent picture quality, especially in low-lighting conditions. They also feature dual-streaming technology, with the ability to record at high-speed while playing back at lower speed."
