The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) has announced it has received four bids to take over the Olympic Stadium following the 2012 Games.
West Ham United Football Club - originally named as preferred bidder for the venue last year before the deal collapsed amid legal challenges - has renewed its interest and is among the bidders.
Meanwhile, Leyton Orient Football Club - one of the two clubs to challenge the decision to award the stadium to West Ham United - has also submitted a bid in the latest process.
The other two bidders are Intelligent Transport Services in partnership with Formula One and UCFB College of Football Business. All four applications will now be assessed for compliance.
• In addition to confirming the four Olympic Stadium bids, LLDC has revealed that iCITY is to be awarded sole preferred bidder status for the Press and Broadcast Centres.
iCITY is aiming to establish a new centre for technology, design and research, with the plans also including a conference centre; a pedestrian square; cafés; restaurants; and bars.
A developer has also been chosen to build the first new neighbourhood at the Olympic Park. However, the firm cannot be named until the full completion of the tendering process next week.
London mayor Boris Johnson said: "London couldn't be in a better position to stage the best Games ever with everything ready to go and our legacy plans in great shape."
LLDC chief executive Andrew Altman added: "Through this kind of private investment we can work to create a great employment, housing and sporting legacy for east London."
