Five star London hotel, 51 Buckingham Gate, is to offer guests a revolutionary new sleep system in its bedrooms.

'Considerate Hotel of the Year' in 2004, it is joining up with anti-allergen bedding company, Allersafe, to become the first hotel in the UK to offer guests a unique sleeping option.

With all the items clinically tested, Allersafe's Healthy Sleep System consists of pillows, pillow cases, sheets, duvets and duvet covers, designed to protect guests from the effects of allergens while they sleep.

"The comfort and well-being of our guests is of utmost importance to us," says Sarah Kassem, head of housekeeping at 51 Buckingham Gate.

"We have many facilities in place to cater for guests who may suffer food allergies and we operate a chemical-free spa; the introduction of the Allersafe system completes the offering."

Allersafe's hypoallergenic bedding contains Amicor Pure, an anti-allergy fibre, and carries the Allergy UK Seal of Approval. It is recommended for people with asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and eczema.
