MOHG Macau set to open in mid-2010
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) has revealed further details about the hotel and spa due to open in mid-2010 on Macau's waterfront in China.
As part of the mixed-use One Central complex, the new hotel and spa will be located in the heart of Macau's entertainment and retail centre and will have panoramic views of Taipa Island, west Nam Van Lake, Macau Tower and the hills of the South China coastline.
With 213 bedrooms and suites, the hotel will also offer MOHG's signature spa concept, which is said to be a 'significant component' of the new property.
Offering a range of holistic rejuvenation within a tranquil, meditative setting, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Macau, will feature a comprehensive range of therapies including some of the group's exclusive holistic signature treatments.
There will also be a fitness centre as well as an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel will be the only non-gaming, luxury hotel on the Macau Peninsula and will also feature extensive meetings and conference space including a 3,444sq ft (320sq m) ballroom and one board room.
