Macquarie Leisure Trust Group has opened two new bowling and family entertainment centres in Sydney, Australia.

Macquarie’s AMF bowling division opened a AUS$6m (£2.6m), 7.5ha site in the Bakehouse Quarter, North Strathfield, Sydney on 30 September.

The group then launched the AUS$5m (£2.2m) Kingpin Bowling Lounge at Sydney’s Harbourside Shopping Centre Darling Harbour on 17 October.

Greg Shaw, Macquarie Leisure’s chief executive officer, said: “The new centres reinforce our strategy to reposition bowling to cater to a broader market – improving facilities for traditional bowling and league patrons, but also incorporating areas for corporate events, birthdays and social nights out.”
