Naked Chef to bid for Little Chef?

Jamie Oliver, the TV chef, is reportedly considering buying the Little Chef motorway restaurant chain.
According to the Sun, Oliver’s TV production firm – Fresh One Productions – is weighing up a £20m bid for the company so that he could “revamp its greasy spoon menu”.
According to the newspaper, there are plans to film a reality TV show featuring Oliver attempting to reverse the struggling chain’s fortunes.
Little Chef was saved from bankruptcy in January this year when private equity group RCapital bought the group from its previous owners, entrepreneurs Lawrence Wosskow and Simon Heath, for £10m.
Wosskow and Heath had paid £52m for the chain when they acquired it from Permira in October 2005.
