New Delhi's Imperial Hotel launches spa
The Imperial Hotel in New Delhi, India, has announced the launch of a 16,000sq ft (1,486sq m) spa located amid landscaped gardens - available to hotel guests only.
Featuring architecture influenced by the Moghul era, the new Imperial Spa aims to provide a range of services that it believes are "essential elements" to a healthy lifestyle. Facilities incorporate Imperial Hydrotherapy suites for pre and post treatment and the Kerala Suite - offering Ayurvedic therapies and the availability of a doctor's consultation.
The Kerala Suite also boasts two rooms with oils and herbal remedies for "ancient healing", while the Moghul Suite is the spa's private facility for couples or families. Elsewhere, the Kabir Room offers Thai massage, yoga and meditation and Rumi's Relaxation Room and five other rooms offering spa therapies are also among the facilities.
Vijay Wanchoo, senior vice president and general manager of The Imperial Hotel, said: "The Imperial spa is designed to purely de-stress and rejuvenate your senses, taking you on an exquisite journey, inspired by India’s rich spiritual wisdom and heritage." "Our ambient and enchanting therapy suites and relaxation spaces are designed to give you a magical and unforgettable experience of belonging to a world full of peace, consciousness and benevolence."
