The BHA is pleased to be the lead partner in the new HRS Hotel Excellence Awards.

The HRS Hotel Excellence Awards have been created to showcase and celebrate hotels which have done the most to sharpen their competitive edge.

Creating examples of excellence and best practice that can encourage other hotels to adopt similar initiatives to improve their business.

The HRS Hotel Excellence Awards will recognise hotels from all sectors of the industry that have successfully introduced practical and innovative ideas and achieved an outstanding and measurable improvement to their hotel’s business.

Commenting on the new awards, Bob Cotton, BHA CEO said: “The principal challenges facing hotel operators today are centred on staff and skills shortages, seeking out and satisfying new markets, containing costs and making on-going investment in amenities and facilities.

”We believe it is time to recognise all those hoteliers who have successfully taken a significant step forward in their search for business excellence - hence the introduction of the HRS Hotel Excellence Awards, which has the BHA's whole-hearted support.

“The awards will give due recognition to those who have met the challenges they face by introducing best practice. Just as important, the awards will hopefully encourage others to match these achievements.”
