New Ultrasmoothing Eye Serum by Dermalogica
Dermalogica has launched its Ultrasmoothing Eye Serum for individuals who experience skin irritation around the eye area.
Part of the UltraCalming range, the new product uses an ingredient cocktail formulated to combat the signs of ageing, while soothing and protecting reactive, delicate eye-area tissues.
It is designed to ease fine lines and wrinkles, dehydration, and loss of vitality and elasticity in the skin around the eye, which is approximately the thickness of five sheets of standard copier paper.
The serum, which is now being offered at Dermalogica’s concept-spaces as well as 7,000 selected skin care centres, salons and spas across the USA, is also intended to combat puffiness around the eyes with botanical extracts, harpoon weed, Norwegian kelp and golden chamomile.
Ultrasmoothing Eye Serum includes magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP), a water-soluble form of Vitamin C, hexapeptide—11, which is derived from yeast and consists of six amino acids.
The actives are suspended in an aloe barbadensis leaf juice for soothing the skin and hyaluronic acid for moisture retention and free-radical scavenging and carrot root oil completes the formula.
Ultrasmoothing Eye Serum also features Dermalogica’s UltraCalming Complex of oat extracts, bisabolol, ginger extract and red hogweed, to target inflammation, sensitisation, redness and irritation.
