New iSpace exhibit for Singapore
The Singapore Science Center has opened a new exhibit called iSpace, which details the history of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
The new display features a collection of more than 50 hands-on exhibits centered around a tree set within a glass globe on the earth, which aims to convey the message that an interconnected network of communication branches touches every corner of the world.
The zone also includes an interactive game show compaired by a digital host, a futuristic Transporter attraction and an Apprentice-style Infocomm Technology ‘job interview’.
Cecil Magpuri, president of Falcon’s Treehouse, which designed iSpace, said: “The most effective way to showcase the latest ideas and technologies is to bring them to life through fun hands-on exhibits and engaging, innovative interactives.
I’ve always had a place in my heart for museum-like attractions designed to entertain while also providing the facts.”
