Innovative Spa Management has been appointed to run the full-service Spa at The Chattanoogan hotel in Tennessee, US, following the completion of a major revamp.

The day spa has operated for more than 10 years and has four treatment rooms; a steamroom and sauna; a whirlpool; and an indoor swimming pool, in addition to a fitness centre and a Spa Terrace.

Tennessee’s mountainous landscape and rivers have inspired the design of the spa and its new services, which include a Walk in the River; the Mountain Mud Masque; and the Ruby Falls Hydrating Body Treatment.

All treatment areas have been transformed and the relaxation area was improved through the addition of new seating arrangements and a 30ft (9m) light wall that "fuses modern style with natural mood lighting".

Two skincare lines are used in the treatments at The Spa at The Chattanoogan – Woodsprite Organic Body Care and Privai, which uses natural ingredients that promote lifelong wellness.

A spokesperson said: "The Spa at The Chattanoogan has been transformed with luxurious finishes and upgrades to create a relaxing oasis designed to pamper and nurture guests."
