RCD Espanyol FC's new, purpose-built stadium in Cornellà-El Prat has hosted its first game with help from two Mitsubishi Diamond Vision screens.

7.6 x 4.3m in size, the Diamond Vision screens are situated in the main 'bowl' of the stadium while over 90 Mitsubishi Electric LCD displays have been installed throughout the complex.

The Diamond Vision's 5,000 cd/m2 light output and wide viewing angles are designed to give fans a clear, sharp picture as well help advertisers to make their campaigns stand out as much as possible.

The Mitsubishi Electric LED screens are able to automatically adjust their power output to suit the current light conditions at the time, also helping to provide optimum operating efficiency.

Diamond Vision has been used in sporting venues around the world, including the recently-opened New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys stadiums.
