Newcastle United put up for sale

Businessman Mike Ashley has revealed that he is looking to sell Newcastle United Football Club (NUFC) as soon as possible, following the club's relegation from the Premier League.
It is the second time in nine months that Ashley has sought to find a new owner for the club. Ashley told the Sunday Times newspaper that he is looking to sell the club and admitted that his tenure at the club had been "catastrophic for everybody".
According to the newspaper, Ashley is seeking to offload NUFC for around £100m. The sportswear millionaire paid £134m to acquire the club in May 2007.
