Sport Northern Ireland has earmarked £74,841 to enable young athletes to commit fully to training ahead of the Beijing Olympics.

Sport Northern Ireland chief executive Eamonn McCartan said, “Sport Northern Ireland remains committed to raising the standards of sporting excellence.

“These investments will assist talented athletes to perform at their optimum in forthcoming international competition.”
