Nuffield Health’s free programmes delivered social value of £166 million in 2025 and the company is now aiming to generate £2 billion by 2030.

According to Nuffield Health’s 2025 Social Impact Report, more than 25,000 people benefited from the charity’s health programmes in the past year; 5,000 GP appointments were saved; 16,000 carer days were freed up and 81,000 sick days were prevented.

Dr Davina Deniszczyc, charity and medical director at Nuffield Health, says: “2025 was a year of real progress and innovation. Working closely with our academic partners, we turned research into practical, real-world programmes, enabling us to launch new support for people living with a wider range of symptoms and health conditions.”

The flagship Joint Pain Programme and Long-Term Conditions Programme combine clinical expertise and structured exercise to improve the health and quality of life of people living with long-term conditions, while also reducing pressure on the wider health system.

Alex Perry, CEO of Nuffield Health, says: “We’re ambitious: we want to do much more for more people and have set ourselves the goal of delivering more than £2 billion in social value by 2030. It’s a bold goal and one we’re committed to achieving.

“Nuffield Health has a unique combination of capabilities in healthcare and fitness, and bringing these together in our free community programmes is delivering world-leading support that is transforming the lives of many people living with serious, often debilitating health conditions. Many of the people we support are living with limited resources.”

Alex Perry will be one of the speakers at this year’s all keynote HCM Summit, taking place in London on 22 October. Tickets are available now.
