The Norwegian Olavesen group is to open a second city spa facility within the Olavesen Spa Grand Hotel, in Oslo, Norway, in December.

The new spa is a joint venture between Olavesen Spa Senters, hotel owner Eiendomsspar and the hotel management company Rica Hotels.

Located on the top floor of the hotel, the Olavesen Spa will cover 5,382sq ft (500sq m) and include a swimming pool, rasul, an aromatherapy crystal steamroom, eight treatment rooms and three spa suites, where guests will be assigned their own personal therapist.

Treatments will use Olavesen-branded spa products, developed by Marianne Olavesen, the company’s co-founder.
