Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne, Lancashire has refurbished and upgraded its gym to offer a range of new equipment from ROC-IT.

As well as bikes, steppers and running machines, each with their own tv screen, the new gym also boasts Expresso Bikes with interactive games. Users can compete on a race track against one another or chase blue dragons for points. They can even challenge someone elsewhere through a web connection.

Pendle Leisure Centre's health and fitness manager, John Rawcliffe, said: "We have brought the existing gym into the 21st Century with this brand new, hi-tech equipment.

"We are always trying to persuade people to get fit and healthy, so we want to encourage them by providing them with better facilities and the best equipment we can."
