Pho to open Soho site
Pho, the home-grown Vietnamese street food restaurant, has announced plans to open its fifth site in London's Soho.
The acquisition forms part of an expansion plan to grow the concept - to bring Vietnamese food to the mainstream in the UK - to 15 sites in the next five years.
Acting on behalf of the group, leisure property agent Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) secured the former Italian Graffiti, a small ground floor and basement restaurant, on Wardour Street for an undisclosed sum.
Pho was founded in 2005 by owner Stephen Wall and his wife Juliette, after travelling to Vietnam and being inspired by the culture and the cuisine.
The restaurants, which specialise in Vietnam's national dish Pho, a low fat rice-noodle soup, are located in three sites in London - Clerkenwell, Fitzrovia and Westfield shopping centre - and in Brighton which opened in April 2010.
