Positive Prime Global Summit to highlight potential for AI-neurotechnology in spa and wellness
The Positive Prime Global Summit will take place between 3 and 5 November. It will provide a forum to discuss how to incorporate innovative technologies for transformative wellness experiences.
The three-day event will take place at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, US, between 3 and 5 November and there will only be places for 150 attendees.
The Summit will be hosted by Kim Serafini, the CEO and founder of Positive Prime – a non-invasive audio-visual system which is said to guide the human nervous system towards positive states of being.
The neurotechnology is founded on the work of scientists at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. It is a three-minute video session that is said to change viewers’ brainwaves to create a more positive attitude for six to eight hours.
Serafini told Spa Business about the Positive Prime experience: “I wanted to create something that does not end when the room empties. Positive Prime captures the energy of our gathering and turns it into a cinematic tool that people can use in just three minutes a day. The aim is simple. Help people reset their nervous system, find calm and clarity, and remember their true potential. For me, that is how hope becomes action.”
She described the Summit as a way “to unite science and spirit in one practical experience.”
“We gather to heal, grow and remember our potential, then carry that transformation forward with Positive Prime in just three minutes a day,” continued Serafini. “For years, I have watched extraordinary minds in science and spirituality work separately, even though both are asking the same questions about healing, flourishing and meaning. This Summit is my way of bringing those worlds into one shared experience. It is a space where neuroscientists, psychologists, leaders, and everyday changemakers explore what it means to be human in a fast and uncertain time.”
Wellness figures will facilitate engaging activities throughout the programme. These facilitators will include Anna Bjurstam of Raison d’Etre and Six Senses, holistic health and wellness advocate Donna Abbate and mindset coach Brett D Scott.
Other co-creators of the event, some of whom will give their own presentations, include:
• Prof Stephen G Post, a professor of preventive medicine and bioethics – and an authority on compassion, generosity, meaningful connection and purpose
• Victor Chan, founding director, Dalai Lama Centre for Peace and Education – blending ancient wisdom with modern insights
• Dr Martin Seligman, director, Penn Positive Psychology Centre, University of Pennsylvania
• Dr Esther Sternberg, medicine, University of Arizona – with a research focus on the brain-immune connection and therapeutic environments

• Dr Matthew T Lee, professor, social sciences and humanities, Harvard University – advancing the study of human flourishing and pro-social behaviour
• Gary G Schoeniger, author, speaker from the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative
• Dr Robert A Emmons, psychologist and professor, University of California Davis – with scientific expertise in the concept of gratitude
• Avinash Singh, a researcher of brain-computer interfaces at University of Technology Sydney
